About the role
Join our Power Commercial team as a Managing Quantity Surveyor and contribute to delivering significant projects like the ASTI scheme, aimed at boosting Scotland’s overhead line network's reliability and capacity.
Our projects, such as this initiative, offer a platform not just to showcase your skills but also to expand and refine your capabilities.
By joining our team, you will engage in impactful work that is vital to our operations and be part of major infrastructure endeavours.
Ideal locations for this role include Inverness, Aberdeenshire, and Dundee.
What you'll be doing- Commercial management of a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of
- Develop and directly line manage a small team
- Manage costs in relation to infrastructure projects with experience of identifying
- Deliver varied commercial duties including responsibility for procuring and
- Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for
customers
- Create and maintain commercial relationships to both internal and external
- Contract administration with both client and subcontractors
- Provide support and adherence for the end to end Gated Business Lifecycle
- Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional
certification
Who we're looking for
The following qualifications or equivalent (preferred, not essential to role):
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent level of education or
experience
