Interim Finance Analyst

My client, a large business based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an Interim Finance Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. The idea individual will be a strong forensic data cruncher that can operate independently, with a solid understanding of financial statements and recent audit mentality to challenge the numbers.

The role:

• Reviewing and understanding of previous normalised components to affect P&L activity. Familiarisation of third party Financial Statement workbook analysis.
• Extraction of Forecast Financials - Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow for entities.
• Responsibility for completion of Financial Outlooks & comparative analysis to prior years based on forecast revisions.
• Interaction with various Finance Teams to source key data (financial analysis support, management KPIs, etc).
• Ownership of full financial data set for divisions & support on prominent entities.
• Support Divisional Finance Director & Finance Project Lead in addressing key questions with third party consultants.
• Ad-hoc requests as and when required.

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or part qualified with a knowledge of Financial Statements and IFRS.
• Strong financial analysis and data gathering skills.
• Able to prioritise and work under pressure as and when required
