Day-to-day of the role:
- Picking products for dispatch to both UK and overseas customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Packing, labelling, and shipping orders, adhering to schedules and targets.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the storage areas.
- Assisting in the receipt and stocking of incoming goods, including unloading and checking shipments.
- Performing ad-hoc light assembly duties and labelling as required.
- Managing inventory and maintaining high quality standards for audits.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and undertaking basic safety duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
- Familiarity with manual handling practices and physical capability to move and lift packages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of professional and courteous interaction.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and a commitment to adhering to safety policies and procedures.
