An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2Receptionist/Clerical Assistant Audiologyto join our Audiology administration team. We provide a service of high standards and our patients are our priority.

This is a part time permanent contract, (16 Hours).

As the first point of contact for our patients, you must be enthusiastic, possess excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, demonstrate a clear telephone manner and be highly motivated. Essential qualities needed are strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, and support other members of the team when required to do so.

Applicants should demonstrate previous experience of working within a customer/patient orientated environment and should have experience using IT systems.

Following a period of training, you will be expected to input data through our Meditech and Auditbase (Audiology patient management) IT systems.

Your main duties will include covering the reception desk and busy back office. This will include greeting patients and booking them onto clinics, registering them on (Auditbase) and managing patient appointments either by telephone or in person.

It is desirable that you have previous experience of working with the general public in a reception/office environment dealing with high volumes on calls on daily basis.
