As the face of Cranbrook Medical Practice, the Receptionist/Administrator will greet and assist patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient service. The ideal candidate will be friendly, presentable, and a strong team player, contributing to the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities: Identify patients' issues and direct them to the appropriate clinician (e.g., triage GP, Nurse, PCN roles). Welcome patients, handle enquiries, manage phone calls, emails, and book appointments. Maintain a tidy, organized reception area and process telephone requests courteously.
Complete tasks requested by team members and provide additional support as needed. Adhere to patient confidentiality protocols and demonstrate a full understanding of practice procedures. Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to recognise and respond to patients' diverse needs, including alternative communication methods.
