Head of Department Private Client Solicitor - Andover

Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 DoE

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Private Client Department, ensuring efficient operation and delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Oversee a diverse range of Private Client matters, including:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate administration
• Court of Protection
• Powers of Attorney
• Tax and trusts
• Provide supervision and mentorship to fee earners and support staff within the department.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging professional development and growth.
• Handle complex cases and provide expert advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years post qualification experience in Private Client law.
• Extensive experience with a full range of Private Client matters, including Wills, probate administration, Court of Protection, Powers of Attorney, tax, and trusts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using case management systems.
• Experience working with vulnerable clients.
• Strong management and supervision skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Preferably STEP qualified.
