Transport Operator
Transport Operator - required for an immediate start in St Albans
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Transport Operator working shifts starting at 09:00 till 17:30 based in the St Albans area. This role is due to start on 17th February.
Our customer is looking for a Transport Operator who is looking for a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
Pay rates-
Monday to Friday paid at £13ph PAYE.
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees.
The successful candidate must fit the criteria listed below:
Duties of the Transport Operator -- Compliance management; monitoring and enforcing adherence to legal driving regulations, and scheduling compliance related bookings within legal deadlines
- Driver Allocation; allocating drivers to assignments and operations efficiently
- Performance monitoring; tracking and reporting of driver KPIs
- Driver coordination; Maintain regular communication with drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure bookings and tasks are completed on time
- Previous experience of HGV road freight/route planning is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of transport processes and legal requirements
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with ability to multi-task
- Working with a well-known successful business
- Ongoing work is available with this position
