Role Overview:

As a Credit Control professional at Culligan Shared Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial health and ensuring timely cash collection across various accounts. This position involves handling customer communications effectively and resolving queries related to payments and invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ledgers by recording customer debt, communications, and outcomes accurately.
  • Ensure timely cash collection and update records accordingly.
  • Resolve and negotiate debt cases with both internal and external customers.
  • Keep meticulous administration of customer accounts and related case notes.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to address customer debt effectively.
  • Help in identifying process improvement opportunities within the credit control function.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in credit control or a related finance role.
  • Strong negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in using ERP systems or financial software.
  • Familiarity with cash allocation and account reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
