Due to growth and expansion, we have exciting opportunities for Lawn Care Operatives with GreenThumb Ltd, UK’s leading provider of lawn care.
For over 37+ years we have been developing products such as the no scorch technology, lawn make overs and have now launched a brand new lawn treatment cycle service.
What we offer:
Pay: £12.11 per hour
- 8 weeks Temporary Position
22 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays (pro rata)
Hours of work: 8am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday (with overtime opportunities)
Location: Aylesbury and Surrounding areas

About the role
Working on customers' lawnsto help with the process of scarification, aeration, fertilization, and moss control. In general, you will be requested to rake lawns, pick up grass and other garden material, to bag or move it to compost heaps or recycle bins, ensuring a professional, important level of service always.
Main duties:
Driving to several designated customers daily and assist the lawn operative.Help using the necessary machinery to aerate and scarify lawns and remove waste to an acceptable level.
Maintain an elevated level of cleanliness and basic maintenance of all machinery at the end of a working period.
Maintain standards of all health and safety practices, as supplied by Green Thumb Limited.
Maintaining a prominent level of cleanliness of the company vehicle and ensuring all servicing is completed.
Always ensure a professional and smart appearance.
Carry out any other duties that may be considered relevant to the position within the terms of the contract of employment.
Skills
The ability to forge and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.Flexibility to travel, work outside of standard hours if required and to work occasional weekends if necessary.
Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions.
Good timekeeping.
Qualifications
Full, UK driving licence.Eligibility to work in the UK.
