Finance Director

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Interim Finance Director to join a globally recognised professional services organisation. Our client, a multi-national powerhouse, operates a bustling UK Head Quarters in the vibrant heart of Leeds City Centre.

As the Interim Finance Director, your integral responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks, including:

• Providing oversight and active management of the finance team, fostering productive work dynamics and effective team communication.
• Orchestrating robust budgeting and forecasting processes, capitalising on your understanding of market trends and organisational goals.
• Serving as a senior contact for financial queries from clients, delivering responsive, insightful, and high-quality assistance.
• Offering strategic advice and guidance as a pivotal part of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping key decisions and forward plans.

To be considered for this role, we require candidates to fulfil the following criteria:

• Immediate availability, or the capability to commence the role on short notice.
• Qualification as an Accountant, holding the necessary credentials and experience.
• Proven experience in previous interim positions, demonstrating adaptability and proficiency in short-term leadership roles.
• Concrete leadership skills, combined with a proactive, self-motivated approach to tasks.
• An outsourcing or contracts-driven industry background is considered a distinct advantage.

The successful Interim Finance Director can expect the following in return:

• An attractive day rate between £450-£550 (PAYE).
• Established contract assignment of approximately 6 months.
• Opportunity for a permanent role within the organisation, subject to performance and cultural fit.
• Strategically located offices in the heart of Leeds City Centre, surrounded by a multitude of facilities.
