Job Title: Maths TeacherSalary: Upto £45,000 per annum
Location: NewBarn School - River View, Newbury, Berkshire
Contract: PermanentTerm Time Only
Hours: 40hours per week, Monday to Friday

Due to growth in ourservice, we are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join ourwonderful team at New Barn School located in Newbury!
Job Summary and Duties
Working as a Maths Teacher for New Barn School, you willdeliver fun educational based learning which is tailored to each ofour pupils to ensure they will achieve positive results.
The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in adynamic environment where you can make a real difference. You willbe expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible,person-centred programmes of study for individuals and groups ofpupils.You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands-onapproach to teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond for theyoung people we support.
Duties willinclude:
- Teachinga varied range of subjects
- Preparing, planning and assessing teachingsessions whilst maintaining an awareness of curriculumdevelopments
- Writing andimplement individual education plans, making assessments ofeducational attainment, setting challenging yet achievabletargets
- Build relationshipswith all young people, which will encourage their interest andparticipation in their education
- Creating an environment which is stimulating andpurposeful for all pupils to promote teaching and learning outsidethe formal classroom settings
Key Skills Required:
- Hold Qualified TeacherStatus
- Have a background ofteaching a range of subjects at Primary Level, delivering teachingat a good or outstanding level
- Knowledge of current education issues inrelation to terms of practise, process andcurriculum
- Be experiencedin working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils and youngpeople with challenging behaviour (SEMH/EBD)
