For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below. More detail about the role We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Glaucoma Unit as an Appointment Administrator within our growing Ophthalmology service.
You will form an essential part of the team, ensuring patient appointments are booked accurately and information is updated regularly, planning and setting up outpatient clinics and providing administrative support. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, to which this post will provide a wealth of opportunities to expand and develop.
This role will be based at Heavitree hospital but there will be opportunities to cover our sister site at Wonford hospital. We actively encourage informal chats or departmental visits. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours are negotiable. Interview Date: Thursday24th October 2024.
Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later.
Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
