HR Advisor

Your Role
As a HR Advisor you will provide a comprehensive HR advisory service across the whole of TfGM on employee relations casework. Supported by the HR Partners, you will be responsible for supporting a range of managers on cases across the organisation from wellbeing concerns through to grievance and disciplinary matters.You will also be responsible for working with the wider People team and managers to lead on the management of temporary contracts including fixed term contracts and secondment opportunities. In addition, you will contribute to a range of projects and BAU activity including our job evaluation process, drafting policies and guidance documentation in line with legislation & producing monthly and bespoke reports for HR data.
This is hybrid role where you will be expected to work in the office 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring
This is a busy and varied role that requires someone with a passion for customer service and is keen to get involved in a range of activity. You will have previous experience working in a HR Advisory capacity and will have provided advice and guidance on a range of complex employee relations matters ideally within a unionised environment.You will also have a strong working knowledge of employment law and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
