An exciting opportunity to work as part of a growing Managed Services UK Department within the Cloud Infrastructure Services Global Business Line. Successful candidates will be leading the delivery of technology enabled transformation projects of varying size and degrees of complexity across any sector.

The Project Manager / Project Manager Lead of the Onboarding services team will work closely with the client onboarding team and internal teams to ensure that all new services are transitioned into RUN service seamlessly.

The candidate will have responsibility for delivering against contracts, delighting clients through meeting and exceeding their expectations, achieving Engagement Targets, identifying and delivering opportunities for incremental business, and ensuring that the Project Management delivery methodologies and financial controls are followed on the engagement.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

You’ll have a hugely positive impact in this role and will be responsible for all aspects of project management. You will be accountable for project delivery to agreed cost and time parameters, with overall responsibility for project success and achieving engagement targets.

  • Specifically focused on the project baseline.
  • Risks and Issues in the pre-project start up.
  • Project start up, execution and closedown.
  • You will be expected to be the author and owner of the Project Governance Plan and be responsible for compliance to its contents.
  • You will also be accountable for clear and concise status and project reporting both internal and external, as defined in the Project Governance Plan. This will include the management of the monthly financial reporting process.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for the highest calibre individuals who exhibit the following attributes, experience, skills that enable them to deliver rapid value to our clients:

  • Stakeholder management skills with a range of clients and stakeholders
  • Exemplar project management delivery and engagement skills with strong previous experience evident from inception through the delivery lifecycle, to agreed cost, timescales and quality.
  • Delivery to a set of contractual obligations.
  • Experience of requirements design, build and implementation.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
