About Our Client

Our client is a large-scale operator in the property industry. Their headquarters is located in Glasgow, where they have established a reputation for excellence and integrity.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Handle the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and readily available when needed
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive efficiency and productivity
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Officer should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Experience of preparation of month-end management accounts / reporting
• Experience of year-end statutory reporting
• Experience in construction industry would be beneficial
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• A strong understanding of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
• Proficiency in major accounting software packages

• A competitive salary of £27k to £33k per annum
• Office based in the city centre ( the position is fully office based )
