Personal Assistant
Personal Assistant required for a 7-year-old girl who lives in Bude.
She has Autism and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support.
She would like someone to support her with her communication. She loves being outdoors and enjoys water/ sensory play.
A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community with her family.
Good rate of pay £12.00 per hour.
Up to 5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
