Back End Developer

Location: Hybrid, Remote or Office based will be considered

Salary: £40-£60k DOE

Our client, an innovative tech company, is looking for a skilled Back End Developer to join their team. You’ll be working on exciting projects, contributing to backend systems using cutting-edge technologies like PHP, Laravel, and Dynamo DB. The role will involve building scalable solutions, integrating payment systems, and ensuring the architecture is optimised for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP 8.2 and Laravel 10.
Manage and optimise databases using My SQL and Dynamo DB.
Implement and integrate billing and payment systems within the products.
Collaborate with frontend and full-stack developers to deliver seamless solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and readability.
Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel developments and best practices.
Contribute to system architecture design and planning.

Requirements:

Proven experience working in backend development, particularly within a Saa S environment.
Strong knowledge of PHP 8.2, Laravel 10, and My SQL; experience with Dynamo DB is a plus.
Experience with billing and payment system integrations.
Understanding of system architecture and scalable software solutions.
Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
Proactive in testing your own code and creating automated tests.
Passion for learning and keeping up with the latest in Laravel and backend technologies.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate and contribute to the overall project success.
