Established in 2012, Cerealto are a global private label food manufacturer, supplying products to large distribution chains and multinationals in the B2B and retail sector.
The successful candidates (x4) will be responsible for the development and implementation of production training and asset care, striving to continuously improve performance and quality by standardising ways of working and developing others knowledge base.
Contractual hours and salary will consist of working a 12-hour day and night rotation (i.e. a 24/7 rostered shift pattern averaging 42 hours per week, 2 week days, 2 week nights).Candidates should understand basic engineering and be able to drive an autonomous maintenance culture with particular focus on the hazard analysis of critical control points within our food production facilities.
There will be a particular focus on regulating the environment and training others whilst:- Building standard ways of working in line with Continuous Improvement workstreams, practices and production needs.
- Participating in some engineering tasks to support changeovers, line trouble shooting, short stops, start-ups, and improvements to efficiency.
- Identifying efficient ways of working and optimizing the maximum performance and efficiency of processes.
- Supporting with the smooth transition of changeovers and deep cleaning of machinery within areas as per set time frames using/producing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machinery and tasks.
- Identifying and implementing new ideas and procedures to help increase efficiencies.
- Communicating working standards and timely validation through assessment.
- Identifying the training needs of production colleagues by liaising with other internal stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Candidates experience should include:- Proficiency having worked in a similar role within manufacturing, coupled with a good understanding of process and equipment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- An understanding of how to capture data, present and cascade information and train others
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Email, Power Point and the Internet.
Strengths will include being a team player, a problem solver, a decision-maker, an influencer and a motivator with great organisation skills.
Candidates must be able to converse clearly and confidently in the English language (written and oral). This position requires some level of technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude.
