We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join support in our clients in Worksop. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production, and providing exceptional dining experiences for the care home residents.
You will have strong leadership skills, be reliable and you will be fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties.
About you:
You must have experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment, ideally within a care home setting, but this is not essential. You should have an NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery and a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
You will manage stock, design menus making the most of your budget and you will serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals that residents will love. You will provide a high-quality food service to support their residents to live well, being responsive to their needs and contributing to their overall wellbeing whilst in their care.

Requirements/responsibilities:
- NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Up to date DBS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- High knowledge of Chef Duties.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Dysphasia Training Level 2 & 3
Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour
